About

Style & Mission

Our style has been described as "psychedelic country," "woke but not contrived," and "cosmic-neolithic."

We're interested in old school stories that do it in new ways. We want genre dives from literary writers, or upmarket goals from genre writers. Westerns, adventures, sports stories, and spy thrillers in particular interest us, and we're not afraid of horror or sci-fi. We'll take a look at other genres, creative non-fiction included. What we really want to see is how old forms reach toward new consciousness, what your characters have to say about our character, and plots that hit us in the mouth and third eye alike.

Our markets are Austin, Texas and Portland, Oregon. Do with that what you will.
